Bayer Leverkusen unveil Swiss star
The Bundesliga club have completed the signing of midfielder Granit Xhaka from Arsenal for a fee of around £20 million.
The move brings an end to Xhaka's five-year spell at the Emirates Stadium, during which time he made over 200 appearances.
The 29-year-old has been capped 105 times by Switzerland and was part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup.
Xhaka is a defensive midfielder who is known for his combative style of play.
He is expected to play a key role in Leverkusen's bid to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The club finished third in the Bundesliga last season, but they were knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage.
Xhaka will be hoping to help Leverkusen improve on their disappointing European performance this season.
