Pernille Harder's penalty miss proves costly as Arsenal claim Women's League Cup

Arsenal have won the Women's League Cup for a record sixth time after beating Chelsea 1-0 in the final at the Emirates Stadium.

The only goal of the game came in the 24th minute when Stina Blackstenius fired home from close range after a cross from Frida Maanum.

Chelsea had a chance to equalise in the second half when they were awarded a penalty after Rafaelle Souza was fouled in the box, but Harder's spot-kick was saved by Manuela Zinsberger.

Arsenal held on to claim the victory and continue their impressive start to the season.
