JJ Redick Announces Retirement After 15-Season NBA Career

Accomplished Shooting Guard Leaves Lasting Legacy

Franchise Records and All-Star Accomplishments

Former NBA shooting guard JJ Redick has announced his retirement from the league after 15 seasons. Redick, known for his exceptional three-point shooting, holds franchise single-season three-point field goal records for several teams he played for.

Redick was the first NBA player and the only player in Orlando Magic history to make 200 three-pointers in a season. He also holds the record for most three-pointers made in a single season by a Los Angeles Clippers player.

During his career, Redick played for the Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks. He appeared in 940 games, averaging 12.8 points per game and shooting 41.5% from three-point range.

Redick was a two-time All-Star and was widely recognized for his off-court contributions, including his work with underprivileged youth and his support of LGBTQ+ rights.
