Cleveland Charge Finalize NBA G League Basketball Staff

Cavaliers Shuffle Coaching Staff, Name Mike Gerrity Charge Head Coach

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League have finalized their basketball staff ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Head Coach Mike Gerrity Returns

Mike Gerrity, who has been the head coach of the Charge since 2021, will continue to lead the team. Gerrity has a wealth of experience in the G League, having previously coached the Canton Charge and Erie BayHawks.

Assistant Coaches Join Staff

Joining Gerrity on the staff are Dan Geriot, who was previously an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Sharife Cooper, who was a standout guard for the Auburn Tigers in college. Gabe Osabuohien, who played for the Charge last season, will also serve as an assistant coach.

Charge Ready for New Season

The Charge are coming off a successful season in which they finished with a 22-18 record. The team made it to the playoffs, where they lost in the first round to the Wisconsin Herd.

With a strong coaching staff and a talented roster, the Charge are looking to make a deep playoff run in the 2022-23 season.
